Over the last few days I have had many former customers and vendors contact me to rave about the new site and design. Many have said they love it but are curious why I decided to make the change that obviously involved a lot of time and hard work. So for all interested I decided to write an answer here on my blog:

So, why the changes? Mainly, the store has expanded with great speed, and we quickly outgrew my former hosting site. I knew I was going to need a site that could accommodate my growing customer base and offer updated features. This inspired me to search to find the best hosting site I could find to offer my customers all of the features they would want as an online shopper. My wonderful graphic designer Danielle, from Red Peach Solutions told me all about the amazing features of AlohaCart, so I decided it was time to make the big change especially since my own technical web knowledge has grown so much over the year. I also decided since I was going to undergo a complete site change, it was a great time to redesign and start fresh. I must mention here that throughout this entire process I have worked exclusively with two amazing designers and the transition would not have been possible without all of their help. For this reason I would like to note them both here. Danielle from Red Peach Solutions was the main reason I decided to make the change. I was a little nervous changing over to a completely new host and system, but I have been thrilled with the results. Danielle helped me every step of the way with the set up of my site using AlohaCart and she is always an amazing designer providing beautiful web design and print work for me, even when it is a last minute request! I have sent her countless emails over and over and she is always friendly, always helpful, and full of information and great ideas! Next, I would like to mention my designer Larissa from Girly by Design. She is responsible for the overall redesign of my site and logo. I have to say this women is angel! She has deligently worked with me for months to create and design EXACTLY waht I ask for. She is really an amazing designer. I have a very particular vision in my mind and can sometimes be a little anal retentive. Larissa is always willing to make adjustments and no matter how many times I email my ideas, thoughts, or changes she is a dream to work with. Whenever I need website maintenance, print advertising, or projects completed Larissa always raeds my mind and comes up with exactly what I was imagining, but 1000 times better!
